What is Cubit

Cubit offers durability, resilience, ventilation, insulation, and ease of care, making it the ideal material for car seats, office chairs, bed pads, and a wide variety of other warp knit fabric applications. Its unique 3D honeycomb knit fabric structure makes it a suitable replacement for polyurethane and other cushioning materials, allowing for optimum support and comfort. It is available in black or white colors, various thicknesses, and woven patterns to suit application needs.

Why use Cubit

Cubit™  is a unique 3D (3-layer) honeycomb warp-knitted fabric with Polyester, Nylon, or PTT options as the middle layer. The three-layered, warp-knitted structure of Cubit™  gives it various functional advantages over traditional weaves that can provide new levels of comfort because of how air is captured, stored, and released. The combination of three different stitch types gives Cubit™  its unique properties: chain stitches for longitudinal elongation, satin stitches for transverse mobility, and inlay stitches for extension recovery. The PTT middle layer has exceptional elasticity and can return to its original structure even after applying pressure 250,000 times, giving Cubit™  a spring-like nature and excellent durability.

With the honeycomb design, air is entrapped within its 3D structure, providing highly effective cushioned insulation for warmth and comfort.

Ventilation (Breathability) 

Even under load and low weight, the open Cubit™  structure "breathes" freely, promoting an unrestricted, multi-directional movement of air in large quantities through the 3D structure. Provides fresh, dry, cool comfort in seats, mattresses, and pads.

Resiliency 

The unique properties of monofilaments that interlink and brace the 3D structure provide high resiliency, outstanding impact resistance, and excellent rebound elasticity.
