Who We Are
Asahi Kasei Advance America (“AKAA”) was founded as a subsidiary of Asahi Kasei Advance Corporation. Extending the company has allowed a dedicated team to offer Asahi Kasei Advance’s technology in North America.
AKAA offers a wide variety of products, including nonwoven spunbond material, 3D honeycomb fabric, and flame-resistant fiber nonwoven material. We take pride in the diversity of our products and how they can be used to improve the everyday life of our customers. Our textiles and nonwoven materials can be found in housing, industrial, medical, and consumer materials.

Asahi Kasei Advance America helps contribute to Asahi Kasei’s Group Mission by offering environmentally friendly spunbond nonwoven products. Examples of our products being a sustainable benchmark include: Bemliese™ being 100% biodegradable and using 100% upcycled cotton linter and ECORISE™ being certified 100% under industrial compost conditions by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).
